It's hard to believe but, yes, it's been ten years since the first San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival took place and this year's celebration, which gets underway November 20, 2013 and runs for five days, is going to be a real blowout. In addition, top national and local chefs, renowned winemakers, supreme brewmasters, major authors, and master mixologists will be on hand. The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is one of the largest anywhere. And it features one of the largest culinary showdowns in Southern California. It pits experienced chefs against rising stars who will go head to head in the kitchen to determine the "Chef of the Fest" at the Grand Tasting portion of the festival. Another highlight is "The Vault: Reserve Wine Experience," which is a very special tasting of the award-winning wines selected in the Sommerlier Challenge International Wine Competition.
