Information About Our Accessible Hotel
In addition to offering Mobility Accessible Guest Rooms & Suites, Best Western Island Palms is proud to offer accessible entrances and an accessible path of travel throughout the hotel including the lobby, pool areas, banquet rooms, restaurant, fitness center, parking lot and public ADA-compliant restrooms. In addition, the accessible hotel paths connect directly to the Shelter Island pedestrian path. We also offer numerous ADA parking spaces around the hotel. A chairlift is permanently stationed in both pools and hot tubs. Many of our Mobility Accessible Guest Rooms are located on the ground floor for your convenience and safety. Additional amenities, available upon request, include shower chairs, portable communication kits, assistive listening devices for meetings – all of which are complimentary to our guests. Hotel employees are happy to read menus and other printed/visual information to guests who are blind or have vision impairment. Service animals are welcome.
