3 Things to Do at the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival
Calling foodies and winos from all the land, the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival is here! This annual event captures the culinary excellence and unique hybridity of flavors native to the San Diego area, and will feature some of the hottest chefs in the industry as well as various tasting events and wine classes. Fancy yourself a mixologist? A connoisseur of cocktails? Put your skills to the test at the You & Yours Distilling CO. cocktail mixing class. Learn mixing and matching tips from the pros as you master the basic cocktails, and even take a few risks to make your own homemade brew.
This food event also doubles as a cross country field trip. Ticket holders will be treated to an exclusive day trip across the border to Baja California, where you’ll gain access to famous wineries, restaurants, and culinary experiences only found south of the border.
To cap off the week of great food and wine events, the epic grand tasting will be held on Embarcadero Marina Park North. Featuring dozens of taste platters and wine samples from different chefs and restaurants, this ending celebration event is one you won’t want to miss.
