Island Palms 2022 Year in Review
2022 was truly a magical year here at Island Palms. We kicked off an exciting fire-spinning series, debuted a Polynesian dance show, introduced our poolside taco truck, welcomed guests from all over the world, and so much more. We also received some incredible guest-chosen honors — it’s certainly been one to remember.

Island Palms was absolutely thrilled to welcome fire dancer Fiora Firefly and her mesmerizing performances to Blue Wave Bar & Grill every Thursday for some scintillating summer sizzle. Anyone who had a chance to watch her heat things up left thoroughly thrilled!

One of the things that confirms San Diego’s confirmed “foodie town” status? Our abundance of awesome food trucks. Island Palms decided to get in on this culinary trend over the summer with our very own poolside taco cart, serving up great taste to guests.

This past year, our team and guests really got into theShelter Island spirit thanks to our Aloha Thursdays series. Polynesian dance shows from master practitioner Bebe Valero set the mood for kicking back and enjoying San Diego’s legendarily mild weather in style.

During Aloha Thursdays, Island Palms embraced our tropical roots by introducing some decadent drink specials at Blue Wave Bar & Grill. Our guests definitely enjoyed relaxing poolside with these frosty, first-rate refreshments.
