Why You Can’t Miss the International Boat Show

With the official start of the summer months upon us, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the warm-weather season than the International Boat Show right here in San Diego. This annual event, located at Spanish Landing Park, will be a fun-filled weekend on the water.

The festival will feature the newest marine technology, with over 150 exhibitions (on land and sea), games and activities the whole family can enjoy. The event will have vessel offerings and sales of all levels, as well as vendors and distributors with knowledge and experience in the marine market. Be sure to also check out the 80-foot-long super yachts as well as various workshops offered for avid boaters looking to hone their seafaring skills. For those looking to stay dock-side, there’s plenty to do on land. Be sure to check out the food and drink vendors and attractions that will be located throughout the harbor.

When you’ve finished perusing the freshly swabbed decks and billowing sails, be sure to hit up the local food vendors who are ready to serve up seaworthy fare and treats. Check out favorites such as Mitch’s Seafood, for fresh fish the locals swear by, or Roy’s for the high-end Hawaiian fusion fare with a twist.

Whether you’re in the market for a new boat, picking up some new tools and tricks of the trade, or just an avid marine enthusiast enjoying a day on the bay, the International Boat show has something for everyone!
