San Diego Bacon Fest
Mmm…bacon! It’s International Bacon Day on 9/2. Head out to Liberty Station for San Diego Bacon Fest and all the bacon-inspired goodness you can eat, plus plenty of beer to wash it down!
If you really love bacon, buy a VIP ticket and get early admission to get first dibs on the bacon delights, plus special beer samples. Otherwise, join the hordes pigging out with general admission. Either way, it’s all-you-can-eat-and-drink all afternoon, set to a live music soundtrack.
There’ll be plenty of food choices, with participants including El Chingon, San Diego Smoker Grills, and The Promiscuous Fork. You can match each dish with the perfect drink pairing; beverage participants will include Abnormal Beer Co., Hubert’s Lemonade, and Mighty Swell Cocktails. When you’re done feasting at San Diego Bacon Fest, head back to Best Western Plus Island Palms Hotel, just a couple of miles from Liberty Station. If you’re still hungry, you can have dinner and drinks in our Blue Wave Bar & Grill.
